RAY'S BAMBOO

Alphonse Karr is a small golden bamboo perfect as an ornamental feature or a light privacy screen in garden beds or pots and troughs. It has beautiful gold with green striped culms and attractive bushy green foliage. Alphonse Karr will naturally grow between 3-4mtrs in height and can be easily trimmed down in height in need.

Bambusa Multiplex - var. Alphonse Karr - 4-5 m traditional bamboo. Shows blushing pink new shoots, yellow and green striped culms growing to 3-5cm wide. Lovely green leaves. Does well in full sun to temperate climates rather than humid areas.

Bamboo Alphonse Karr

Bamboo Alphonse Karr has many different uses, including culinary, construction, furniture, musical instruments, and the paper industry. However, we are not going to bore you with that. This bamboo is the ultimate show stopper for your garden. It’s a lovely plant and one that can withstand different weather patterns. This type of bamboo is a clumping bamboo, not to be mistaken for running bamboo. You see, clumping bamboo does exactly what it says and clumps together, not pushing your other plants out of the way.

“In archaeology, context is everything. Objects allow us to reconstruct the past. Taking artefacts from a temple or an ancient private house is like emptying out a time capsule.” ― Sarah Parcak

ARGUABLY A BUREACRATIC DOWNGRADE ON TREVALLYN IN A PLAYGROUND

The story goes that a child playing in the park's new playground experienced a 'downhill ball escape' and they chased it as children do. Unwittingly as children are prone to do at times like this they chased their ball across the street – as children do. An adult came driving along and not paying close attention as adults some do.... WELL IT WAS ALARMING!

To cut a long story short there was a 'near miss' and quite probably accusations flew back and forth. The adult said do n ot blame me. Bureaucrats, as bureaucrats are prone to do, rushed to judgement and did something. As bureaucrats are prone to do when blame looks like falling upon them, they do something, almost anything, to divert blame. Then they did something, and quickly, as bureaucrats are prone to do when it looks like blame will fall upon them.

Bureaucrats, unable as they are to do much of anything really , actually did something by themselves, of their own bat, and well away from the public glare. Except by exerting their misplaced power, as they are prone to do, they are typically 'able' do something and do nothing instead. But here they did the only thing a bunch of bureaucrats are prone to do they shifted blame and got someone else to do something. Someone else to absorb the blame if it should fall their way.

Trouble is they were not sure what to do. Trouble is they needed to be paid. Trouble is they needed to do something in order to be paid. Trouble is they need to look like they knew what needed to be done. Trouble is they lacked design sensitivity. Trouble is the built a cage because they thought would do. Trouble is they didn't know the stories that were looking to be told.  Trouble something has been missed, and lost. Trouble is it cost twice. Trouble is it needn't have. Trouble ... trouble is ... trouble is

NIAL's RUBBISHpoetry

When they tell you its past it's use-by-date have a think. When they tell you its not fashionable anymore worry about the planet. When they tell you that all you can do is scrap it, wonder out loud. When they tell you its ugly think why. When they tell you its rubbish look at who is telling you this. When they tell you it is useless care about waste. When they tell you that it will not be liked as, who says. When they tell you it will not work, give it a go. When they say don't do it, go ahead anyway.... Mostly they are wrong, wrong, wrong .....
